The Fakenham Fair is back on Saturday 27 August with a new twist. For the first time since it was relaunched in 2010, celebrations will be in the town centre instead of Millennium Park. The theme this year is ‘The circus’, and organiser Kick Start Fakenham plans to create a real carnival atmosphere, with stilt walkers, musicians and jugglers mingling with the crowds. Committee member Julia Sandford-Cooke says, “We’re keen for local traders to get involved by running stalls outside their shops and offices, bringing the fun of the fair to the heart of the town.”
Kick Start Fakenham is calling anyone who’d like to be involved to get in touch – whether it’s showing off your circus skills, running a stall for your business or charity, or volunteering to help out on the day. Email [email protected] for more information.
